NordGuide Oy will be happy to help you again to apply for cost support for companies. This time the application round is the fifth and it will open on Tuesday 21.12.2021 and the application period ends on February 18, 2022. This time the support will be paid for the period 1.6.2021 to 30.9.2021.
The application round reimburses companies that have suffered from public-sector restrictions related to the fight against the corona pandemic. Therefore, the support is particularly important e.g. for companies in accommodation, events and tourism, but without further consideration, totally 41 business field categories are covered. In addition, support may be granted on a discretionary basis to companies in a number of other sectors that have suffered from restrictions imposed by public administrations. It should be noted, however, that a mere recommendation from an authority is not sufficient to justify the support granting outside the business categories, mentioned above. Thus, for example, a remote work recommendation to a company’s customers does not justify support to a company outside these business categories.
Cost support is available if the company’s turnover has dropped by more than 30 per cent from 1 June to 30 September 2021 compared to the same period in 2019. There is a 30% deductible for cost support, ie if the turnover drop is 40%, then the support is 40 – 30% = 10% of the not flexible costs
