In frame of the Kolarctic Food Refining CBC Project we have developed this kind of cross-border cooperation &#8211; the changed political situation during the last year have not made our work very easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A hundred years ago, there were no visible state borders in the north, and people passed completely freely across the borders from one place to another, doing business and other cooperation. At that time, there was almost as much interaction of all kinds in the east-west direction as in the north-south direction.
